Bridal gowns require a minimum of 8–10 weeks before your wedding date to allow adequate time for fittings and alterations. For extensive redesigns or custom modifications, please allow 10–16 weeks.
Bridal Fitting Process
Your initial fitting is a personalized consultation where we evaluate the fit of your gown and discuss any desired changes. Please bring:
- Your wedding gown
- The exact shoes you plan to wear
- All undergarments or shapewear you will wear on your wedding day
Most bridal alterations require multiple fittings to achieve the best possible fit. The number of appointments will vary based on the complexity of the alterations and the construction of the gown.

Bridal alterations are quoted individually after the initial fitting:
- Hemming (Crepe, silk, satin) - $175-$250
- Hemming (Lace, Beading, Horsehair) - $300-$475
- Bust or waist adjustments - $175-$250
- Shoulder-up - $30-$75
- Hip or bottom adjustments -$150-$250
- Custom changes - $150+
- Take-in sleeves: $85+
- Darts- $85+
- Bustle: $85+
- Taper/Shorten sleeves - $85-$125
- Add bra cup - $30+

Pricing varies based on the garment, fabric, and alterations required.
- Hem (unlined) – $35 per layer
- Hem (lined or thick fabric) – $40 per layer
- Take In or Let Out Sides – $60–$120
- Take-in sleeves: $60+
- Take Up Straps: $45+
- Add Bra Cups or Modesty Panel – $25–$40
- Zipper Replacement – $55–$85
- Dart Adjustment / Reshape Bodice – $35–$65
- Shoulder/Neckline Adjustment – $50–$80
Booking Your Alteration Appointment
To ensure adequate time for fittings and alterations, we recommend scheduling your appointment as soon as your gown or dress arrives.
Appointments can be booked online through our scheduling portal:
A $50 fitting fee is required to reserve your appointment. This fee covers your consultation and fitting time and will be credited toward your final alteration invoice.

- Bridal clients should book at least 8–10 weeks before their wedding date.
- Rush services available upon request at an additional cost
- Please arrive with your gown or dress, event shoes, and undergarments/shapewear for the most accurate fitting experience.
